Friendship Unit
The first nine weeks of the school year, the counselor focuses primarily on helping students develop new friendships, rekindle old ones and learn to make decisions about what kind of friend they want or need. From kindergarten, all the way through 5th grade- we focus on friendly words, respecting differences, learning what support looks like, gaining the tools to stand up to bullies and understanding cliques and "clubs."
